« The modern woman as seen by Chloé Tallot is a versatile challenging creature, a vulnerable, naïve, sensual but idealistic and hybrid woman. This screen shows four black and white portraits of women taken in a long short-cut sequence inspired by Cassavetes Faces. The audience experiences the feeling of being confronted with the tormenting perpetual movement of life. With the video pattern the audience is immerged into the flux of sensations and feelings, whether ephemeral or real, which Chloé has intimately captured in a hypnotic film. Do not try to understand what is said or shown but let yourself be carried away by the light, the sound of the voices rising and answering each other. Accompanied by M83 music and Er!c B Young / Nuno dos Santos / Patrice Baumel from whom the title is borrowed, Her Dance is an overwhelming metaphor of a real dance into which we all dream to merge one day.»

« Idéalisme, vulnérabilité, naïveté, violence, sensualité : une image de la femme surgît confusément de ces fragments intimes. Our Dance se compose de quatre visages filmés en une longue séquence de plans cuts noir et blanc inspirée du film Faces de Cassavettes.
Le dispositif vidéo immerge le spectateur au gré du montage des sensations et des émotions enregistrées. Jouées ou réelles, légères ou profondes, Chloé Tallot filme au plus près ces reflets et met en espace les traces qu’elles laissent sur l’image. Inutile de chercher à capter tout ce qui se dit et s’offre dans ce polyptique hypnotique : il faut se laisser porter par la lumière, les modulations sonores, les sous-titres et les voix qui tour à tour s’élèvent et se répondent.
Sur une musique de M83 et de Er!c B Young / Nuno Dos Santos / Patrice Baumel à qui elle emprunte son titre, Her Dance est une métaphore de notre danse existentielle, une projection de notre condition : âmes tourmentées parce qu’en perpétuel mouvement. »
